The moon phase is based on the nearest city based on the cities available preset in the watch. One is the accuracy and the other is how easy it is to set up. This is actually the first time I’m using a tide and moon phase watch so I’m curious about two things. My iPhone does a better job when it comes to world time, timer and alarms. Like the world time (time in another city which you can preset). It has other functions that I’m really not going to bother much with. No need to even press any button or dial. Put it on and as soon as it detects sunlight it comes back on.
When this is turned on, it goes to sleep when you keep it in the room or away from sunlight. No worrying about wearing a watch that (suddenly) doesn’t work on your wrist.
